As Verdurie's high command finally finishes scrambling to send orders to their soldiers, they prepare reinforcements, sending some more men to the front. They immediately begin to counterattack, planning to retake Nahren, hopefully then reversing the invasion to take Azurel. No progress is made in the north against Fenrira to prevent excessive frontage and any potential lengthening of this war, which would've resulted in just a long deadlock.
