Instructions

The air got 10 degrees colder. Maybe even 20, Link sprints forward without hesitation I snap out of it. I run in close proximity behind him. Josha follows as well. When we get there Link looks around and then rushes off to somewhere. When I get there I see at least 20 bokoblins attacking the fort. I see Link went to protect a mother and her child. I take a deep breath and extend my hand. A beam of light shoots out of my palm impaling a bokoblin. Josha beams at my attack."Stay here." I tell her. I create a bow of light which I grab and it turns physical. It's a white bow with gold details and has light streaks midst the white. I get it ready create an arrow of light and pull back. Link was about to get hit from behind but I shot the bokoblin just in time. He keeps on fighting with sword and shield. I Run forward to get in a better position I pull back the arrow but a bokoblin comes up and tries to attack but shove it with my bow and then grab the arrow and stab it into their stomach area. It falls to the ground. I grab another arrow. I shoot another, Then I see Link out numbered I rush over and create a ball of light that I send towards them and expand on contact. Link flinches flinches from the brightness when he looks back he nods a thank you. I kneel and pull back an arrow. Link gets to my back and blocks with his shield. I look back for a second, there was a bokoblin right behind me and I didn't notice. I look forward and shoot a few more bokoblin by the time we're done fighting Sheik arrives. "IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT?" She cries out. I stand up and smile, "Yep, everything's fine Sheik." I reassure her. "Oh Sheik no need to worry these two handled it."Josha adds Sheik puts her hand on her chest relieved. "Well, sorta. " I say she looks at me with confusion. "What do you mean?" she asks, Link looks at me with that expressionless face. Josha crossed one arm and put one finger on her chin. "There was a larger amount of Bokoblin than usual. " I say thinking of the absurd amount of enemies. "About twenty all at once." I say, Sheik's eyes widened in disbelief. Josha nods "Fortunately they were only red bokoblin, the weakest of their kind." She remarks. "They are no smarter than they were when Gannondorf attacked all those years ago." She notes. "Twenty? That's not a good sign! Princess you don't think?" She starts, but I already pieced it together. That amount of enemies usually means that the demon king is rising. "I must get to my training at once." I must find the key to mastering my powers. "You know," Josha starts I look at her "There were also time powers that both your mother and grandmother had." She says. I remember and touch the secret stone on my necklace once again. "Didn't grandma find her time powers through this exact secret stone?" I ask Josha. She nods "Yep, It activated them by teleporting her to the founding of Hyrule." I think about the stories I was told. "Your mother was more skilled in time powers than light much like your grandmother. You seem to be the opposite though." I look down at the ground. What could this mean? "In any case there was a found way of harnessing the sacred light powers." Josha says to me. I look up without hesitation. "Please, tell me what it is!" I plead. Whatever I have to do to protect this kingdom. "I know that look, stop worrying it's easy. It helps when you think about someone you care about or love." Josha says. That's it? It's that simple? I feel like my mind has been running it absolutely futile circles. I don't even know where to start. The cold morning chill matched the solemn mood of the town. I look around seeing families and their children close together. Embracing each other in relief. They all collected themselves. Link's mother kneels to me "Thank you for keeping my son safe." I don't even know how to react. Then more people kneel. "No... wait I don't want this please stop." They continue to kneel. "Please stand up" finally they stand up. I sigh in relief. Then many walk up to Link and thank him. Josha walks up behind me. "So are you thinking what I'm thinking?" she nudges. "Unfortunately yes," I take a deep breath "Link I need to talk to you." Link looks over he nods. He waves to the crowd of people. He comes over. "Listen this was only the first of many attacks to come. If this village is a target..." he's looking at the ground he clearly understood where I was going. I couldn't say aloud, but we might not be able to do this every time. Though this is his home he has to move. "I need to speak to my father." Josha shrugs. "I'll make my way back to my lab. No biggie!" she says dismissively. I look at Link. He looks up the spirit back to him. He was pale before but the color returned back to his face now. We run back to the lift and make our way to the throne room. "Father urgent news! You must listen please I beg of you-" My father slams his fist against the armrest of his throne. "You should be training!" he was about to continue butI stop him

Description

"NO! Dad listen there was an attack on Hyrule town! There's no time to train. I have to meet with the sages-" He stands up "ZELDA! No excuses, you must train." My face grows hot and a lump wells in my throat. "Don't you get it people are in real danger and your doing nothing!" I yell. "It's like it doesn't matter to you. Dad there were young children in that village." He turns to face the stained glass window behind the throne. "I'll send my soldiers out and that's final!" He states. "Unbelievable. Your the king. Your supposed to guide the kingdom not destroy it." I retort. Before he could say anything Istorm out of the room. "Link get whatever you need for a journey to the regions." He smirks and runs off. I go to my room and grab my clothes for just everyday outings. I then go to the kitchen and grab a knife. I also grab a hood and cape. Lastly I grab a bag on my way out. I pass a washroom. I stop and walk back to the washroom. "Could use a trim." When Link and I meet up again. His jaw drops. "Is it too much?" I ask he closes his mouth. Then he shakes his head. He looks back at me his face pinkish. "Does it look bad?!" I ask. Link puts his hands and shakes his head more aggressively. "Dad's gonna kill me isn't he?" Links smirks and nods. "Yeah..." I agree. I look at the door. I take a deep breath. What did I just get myself into? Am i going crazy? I mean I could die, and I'm still going. Then again, I guess the question is how many people will die if I don't do this? Still will I even be able to save the whole kingdom? Link looks at me. "Sorry, let's go." I start walking to the doors. Wish me luck mom. The song is Midna's Lament from Twilight Princess.
