He looked around, recognizing the beautiful mossy land and pine trees he loved so fondly. The pine trees blew gingerly in the wind, swishing back and forth, making a quiet, peaceful noise to Rockkit’s ears. ‘’ Hey, Rockkit ! ‘’ A bigger, older kit mewed, walking confidently up to him. ‘’ ah, I see you’re talking to your only friend! The trees ! ‘’ The older kit snickered. ‘’ oh, shut it, Birdkit. ‘’ Goosekit meowed, waking up to sit beside his friend. Birdkit stretched, then replied, ‘’ have fun hanging out with this weirdo instead of me, Goosebrain. ‘’ Birdkit meowed, walking away. ‘’ don’t let him get to you. ‘’ Goosekit meowed, curling his tail around his friend. ‘’ I’d much rather hang out with you instead of him. ‘’ ‘’ Thanks, Goosekit….’’ Rockkit meowed. ‘’ I think I’ll just head back to my nest…’’ Rockkit was suddenly cut off as booming words echoed around the main clearing. ‘’ All cats old enough to climb the trees of the forest, gather beneath the high-tree for a clan meeting ! ‘’ A cat atop the tree yowled, as three other cats jumped up next to him. ‘’ Look! The leaders are calling a meeting ! ‘’ Goosekit meowed, grabbing Rockkit’s paw and dragging him toward the tree. _____________ Cliffhanger:3 rehehehehehheheh
