Rosestar felt... utterly tired. Alone. She was so, so cold, but... at peace, also. Watching Koelstar rise above the ranks, she had faith in him. She hoped he would do well. Her eye itched-- her belly ached, and her shoulder hurt. Her leader marking still stood, though it had faded a little, seemingly representing her retirement. She was so, so proud of her kits. She knew they would do well. They would do so very well, she knew it. A tiny smile spreading on her face, tears began to streak down her eyes. "I'm so excited to see you, Bubblepop. I'm going to see you, Snakeshadow, Rubydawn, Diamondstream, Emeraldwhisper, Sapphiresong, Oriolekit, Songbirdkit, Balladkit, Asterbloom, Cardinalchrysathemum, Pigeonsong, Thornbush, Cherrysong, Robinsoar, everyone. I may be on the other side of the ghost world, but we will meet. I promise you. I won't ever break another promise ever again." She murmured, tears falling at a faster pace, a sob escaping her tightened throat. She loved MossClan. She had made mistakes, yes, but only to protect her Clan. How could she live, knowing her clan mates would die and go to the Dark Forest, to suffer in misery and hatred? She had done it so she would have that, so her Clan would live in bliss and harmony in StarClan. She believed StarClan was good, and the Dark Forest... couldn't be trusted. But she was tired of being blamed, of being hurt. No one had lost as many cats as she had, she had lost two and a half litters already, and she was still being blamed. So what? Now her time was coming to a close. If cats would call her evil, what was the point of trying to prove them wrong? But what was the point of proving them right, as well? A smile etched across her face, she closed her eyes. "I know what will come of me, but take it easy, StarClan." She murmured. "I'd do it all again."
