spoiler warning for the power of three through broken code blood and slight bright color/eyestrain warning Please read the reasons I swear they're interesting- GIMME (clean) SONGS TO ADD GIMME GIMME ashfur's fun to draw I've wanted to post this for SO LONG but I only just got around to the art click for next project inspired by the Rory and Mr. Loverman maps on yt art by me using kleki (1-4) and procreate (5) warriors owned by the Erin Hunter team/harpercollins songs belong to respective owners Sinners, Saints & Fools - Brandi Carlile (art inspired by Rory map part 15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVvUzw4HVb8) IM SO PROUD OF THE ART HELP the jaw is weird tho Reason: this song's all about a guy who uses a messed-up perception of his religion to justify his hypocritical and flawed actions. the man in the song is rejected by heaven unlike ashfur but oh well. the chorus sounds like ashfur preaching to his followers about the dangers of breaking the code. also in my head "Sinners, saints and fools" in the first chorus is referring to the codebreakers (Sinners), Team Imposter (saints), and squilf (fool) (because the narrator is ashfur, that's how he percieves it) and in the third chorus it's the df cats (Sinners), StarClan (saints), and the living cats (fools) because of how ashfur believes he can manipulate them. ALSO THIS SONG IS UNDERRATED IT GREW ON ME SO FAST BRO ITS A BANGER also like yes Brandi Carlile alt country/rock music is amazing???? WHOEVER SAID COUNTRY CANT BE GOOD- would you be so kind - dodie (art inspired by the she wants me to be loved pmv although I eventually strayed a lot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvu5O6clNv0 and ToPH covers) frogge draws clean lineart not clickbait reason: this song is very sweet but I interpreted it for ashfur as him insisting that squirrelflight SHOULD love him and taking advantage of her kindness toward her mate. also the analogy of swapping bodies to feel love is giving imposter Sweet Tooth - Cavetown not my best work prolly cause no reference/inspiration ; ; DONT LET THE ART SCARE YOU AWAY THIS SONG IS SO GOOD ITS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR THE LAST 72 HOURS reason: the very first lines are "Feeling sick of myself >>Think I'll try to be someone else<< Can't be hard to paint a person In my head, create a version >>The parallel<<" IMPOSTER ALERT BWEEE BWEEE BWEEEE ashfur LITERALLY tries to be someone else so he can get the girl. ofc the singer is talking abt making themself a better person/more favorable personality but it's literally so perfect when viewed that way also the "I like you say it back" is SO desperate and possessive if u think abt it in a different way also the "you love me exactly the way I am" is so twisted because she DOESNT love him exactly the way he is, he has to SWAP BODIES to make her love him, but that's what he believes. She loves specifically ONLY the boy in the mirror (bramblestar's body) and doesn't want to hurt it.
