I like using a watercolor or air brush on the "multiply" setting, or if you're using scratch you can cell shade by picking a color darker than the original and adding it on top ☆ add a background!! (drawing it yourself, even if it's low quality really adds to the piece! also try not to use pictures from google) ☆ use another program (if you need a recommendation, I use FireAlpaca! it's free to download and I still use it after all these years) ☆ add details / lighting / etc ! ═════════════════☆════════════════
