"The Neighborhood", or Level TN for short, is a vast expanse of winding sidewalks and several open fields where some objects like snail shells or bottles of almond water can be found. This level is iconic for it's low quality, but dreamlike appearance as if your vision in the dark was suddenly contrasted to a bright field. The sky is usually a gray/blue, and many road signs are scattered around, and some cars or facelings may pass by, about 3 every minute. These entities cannot speak, but they are able to be interacted with as if they are real people. You can also barter and trade in this level, but for items that you can make things out of. For example, a cord crafted out of dog leashes. ____________________________________________ This level is classified as a Class 2, due to an unstable environment, and some juvenile facelings are there as well. However, there are two parts of this level, dubbed as "The Roads" and "The Forests". The Roads are ranked as a Class 1, and The Forests are ranked at a Class 3. So both together make this level a Class 2. ____________________________________________ The first description was The Roads, the next will be about The Forests. The Forests are known for their small appearance, but very vast insides, as if they're levels inside of levels. In these "Forests", You are able to find an entity known as TN-1, which are only native to this level. ____________________________________________ ENTITY TN-1 They take the appearance of the mythological Pterolycus, which is a winged wolf. They come in many different colors, some have even reported to be a calico-like coloration. But one thing is the same for all of them, their wings are the same as the Frontrooms' birds of prey; like falcons or hawks. These entities are relatively docile, and can be tamed with Firesalt. If you approach them with a harmful intent, then they are likely to attack you, and feed you to the remainder of their pack. TN-1 is known to hunt only for food and self-defense, and when tamed, they are able to scare lethal entities away; like Smilers or Dullers. Something interesting about these entities is that they have heightened sensitivity to touch, therefore being pet is much more enjoyable compared to other canines. ____________________________________________ The Forests are the most unstable part of the level, and can cause paranoia in just an hour of being in the forest. This is why some people use TN-1 as an emotional support animal. Many fallen branches can be found on beds of dead leaves and pinecones, and if you wander far enough, you might find trees lined up perfectly in a grid. These areas are known as "Nature's Corridors", and are the only places known to hold an exit. ____________________________________________ The entrances to this level are pretty hard to find. - Wandering in a sewer chamber in Level 9 until you find a green brick and knock on it - Sleeping on any grassy field in any level - Touching a wolf figurine ____________________________________________ And the exits even more so, since there are only two. - Finding a tree stump and noclipping into it to get to Level "False Tranquility" - Breaking a branch to get to Level 10 ____________________________________________ THIS DOCUMENT IS PROPERTY OF VIRIDIAN ANALOG PERSERVATION.
This is my own Backrooms concept, so I hope you enjoy the idea
