Shooting Stars: Chapter 1: Jason's POV I ran through the forest as fast as I could, I needed a moment by myself. I was finally deep enough into the forest to take a break, so I sat in the grass. I was tired, I had only been a vampire for a year now, and human blood still bothered me a lot. “I can’t believe I almost killed that kid.” I muttered angrily to myself, remembering how just a few minutes before when my uncle Edward and I were hunting and we went too close to a 7 year old girl, who I almost attacked after she cut her leg. I felt so ashamed. I remembered my human life pretty clearly and was afraid of blood. Now... now I’d kill for it. I took a deep breath, and touched my hands to the grass, that always calmed me. I suddenly heard a rustling sound from behind, I quickly turned and saw the most beautiful girl that I had ever seen in my entire life. She smirked at me in a special way that I knew I would cherish forever. Finally she spoke in a voice that sounded like fresh, sweet, honey “ Hello, I’m Anastasia.”
