RULES --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) This is an OC or Fandom MAP. You may use any characters. Human, cat, dragon, etc is fine. HOWEVER! You must hide a Bill Cipher somewhere in your part. This can be as subtle as you like. If you use him as a character, you still should hide one. Every part should have this hidden Bill. --------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) PMV is fine but you must have MINIMUM 2 frames. These parts are short, I'd prefer you animate. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (3) Please include a background to your art, but don't use the scratch 'background' to do it. Anything you include in the scratch background will be replaced with bright rainbow colors in the final map, making your part look silly. (so use sprites only) --------------------------------------------------------------------- (4) This is an intermediate and advanced map so not everyone will be accepted. Please apply anyway! People tend to rank their own work as less impressive than it is. I will reply to your comment once I've seen it. "Pending" means I am considering your entry and I will get back to you. I will be uploading the final map to YT so only apply if you are fine with that. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (5) There is a hard deadline of OCT 25. This way I have the weekend to put the map together. I will check in multiple times to make sure you are on track to finish your part. If you can't finish it PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. That way I have time to find a replacement. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (7) If you want to be a backup, feel free to apply. Be aware you may be asked to complete a part last minute. Only apply if this is something you can do. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (8) Your part should follow the idea of your characters investigating a mystery in some way, such as looking for clues, doing research, or otherwise uncovering something hidden. The parts should be mysterious and may or may not reveal what they find. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (9) No blood or gore. This should be a mysterious vibe without relying on those things. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (10) No official pallet but you should use the colors in the project as inspiration. Don't go using pastels or neons for example. You may not use pure black or white. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (11) Ah I knew I was forgetting something. 1 sprite max, but you may apply for an exception. Also no clones. --------------------------------------------------------------------- (12) Don't start animating until you get the part? I feel like this is a very standard rule of maps. I'm not going to give you the part you don't formally have even if you've already made it.
