Instructions

Click the mouse to begin. Move the mouse to aim your shot. Press and hold to charge up the shot. Release to fire a planet. You have 10 shots. Score points by sinking a planet in a black hole. Don't hit other planets or you lose all of your points. Hitting the red planet loses points and ends the game. If your shot doesn't have enough power to reach a black hole, it becomes another obstacle.

Description

This version contains a couple of fixes based on feedback: * the cue is no longer locked while aiming * the cue guide is now chevron shaped to show direction * you must click a button to spot the next planet (this prevents a player from finding the perfect spot and sticking there.) This game was created for the Mini Ludum Dare 42. The theme for this one is in honour of Douglas Adams. This game was based on Ford Prefect's recollection of a planet that got used in a game of intergalactic bar billiards and got potted straight into a black hole killing 10 billion people... and it only scored 30 points. The graphical style for this game was inspired by the animations created for the TV series version of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The "large friendly letters" font is JuneBug by Jakob Fischer. The plain font is Days by Alexander Kalachev. Sound effects were created with SFXR and the musical intro theme was created with MUSAGI both by Tomas Pettersson.
