i have very sad news for fans of japanese voice acting: today, atsuko tanaka passed away. she was known for voicing various characters, notably lisa lisa, poison, and bayonetta. she was an amazing voice actress, and it's sad to see her go.
credits: capcom, platinumgames(for mention of bayonetta), hirohiko araki(for mention of a JJBA character), and of course, the late, great atsuko tanaka. i thought this year couldn't get any worse, but then poison's seiyuu passed away. another seiyuu, kikuko inoue, was friends with atsuko. i wonder if she misses her just as much as i do?
