Q & As: Q: There was a survey on how/if Christians support/respect LGBTQ+ A: So, this is a very complex matter. As a catholic, no, I do not support LGBTQ+ actions. This is not to say that I do not care about those who chose those actions. Everyone is a beautiful human made in the eyes of God, and we are all brothers and sisters. So yes, I do still care for and respect everyone who choses those actions. I even have friends who chose this. I do not support the actions. My reasoning is backed by the bible and my faith beliefs, but also logic and my reasoning. (This is only a short answer, if you have more questions ask me!) Q: (Assuming you go to Church) What’s your favorite part of Church? :D A: (ah, so that in itself is actually quite interesting! Catholics need to go to Mass (which is our celebration at church) every Sunday, otherwise they are considered non-practicing, and really that is not encouraged whatsoever :( )) I would say the really fun community and being able to receive Christ! Q: As Catholic, what exactly do you believe that's different from other Christians? (I'm not Catholic so I'm curious) A: So Catholics are Christian, but our beliefs vary from most other Christians. Some examples are: saints - which are not recognized in other denominations, belief in the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, Mass (it is just "service" in other denominations, this is different because Mass is a celebration of Eucharist rather than just listening to the word, our belief that Mary is true virgin and true mother of Jesus + that she was assumed into heaven. Those are all of the ones I could think of off of the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more. Also, we only have one bible.
