Very simple theory about my last project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1010650879/ I still think that most of what I said in the last project is true, but I have more theories about the cave now. I still think that it is basically the anti-Fog, but it works differently than I first thought. [next] Firstly, flowers associated with the characters appear around the cave when they speak. This is literally pointed out by Salmonpaw, as she asks if the cave is voice activated. Another thing we notice is that two flowers can be around the cave at once. However, a loud shout can cover the entirety of the cave's entrance, like shown with Redeye. [next] When Salmonpaw falls into the cave, she instantly touches the suspicious glowing rainbow threads like a queen (with this habit of touching random things that could be dangerous, Salmon would definitely be the first to die in a horror movie), and surprise surprise, it's Redeye's memory. My assumption is that the flower on the outside is what the memories within the cave would be. So, even though Redeye is the reason she fell into the cave to begin with, he also saved her from seeing her own memories. Now she only has to relive Redye's trauma and not her own :D [next] That's most of the theory, but I also wanted to mention Breezypaw and Volepaw in this scenario. They obviously know what the cave is, and I assume they went exploring in it. I imagine when they went to the cave in the past, they both were talking. Without another cat to scream and clear the cave, they went in and had to explore their own memories before the Fog had fully cleared. This was probably very traumatizing, especially if they had to relive their own death. [next] The last thing I have to talk about is the 'why' of the cave. Since the forest is officials only, I imagine the cave is a way for officials to better judge cats, especially ones that are a tough case between Starclan and the Dark Forest. I think this also might be the reason the flower field exists, to see what cats deserve Starclan. However, it would be very difficult to turn on the cave if it is only voice activated, so I assume it's any defining feature of the cat can activate it. Maybe a snippet of their fur, a drop of their bl00d, or maybe even a petal of their flower from the flower field could possibly activate the cave. Another thing I want to relate this too is the paw prints from ToPH. Meadow has revealed that EA was originally a ToPH fanfic, so I assume the cave and flowers were based off this and may share some features. Anyway, that's the little theory.
