Hi Duckpaw! I speed ran drawing this all morning lol, very fun! I've actually never drawn Dewrush haha. Lore time! (TW: mentions of abuse (lots of forms), a lot of murder, mention of cat pregnancy (nothing happens to the mother btw) Nothing your typical warrior cats fan isn't used to Summary: He murdered a father, became his kids stepdad, abused one of them while being his mentor, and getting a medicine cat exiled. It makes more sense for me to explain the full story, I'll try to do it quickly though haha -Sunpebble(she/her) is mates with Yellowfin(he/him) -Yellowfin is a beloved tom in the clans -Yellowfin has a sister named Dogwoodflower (she/they) who was a warrior for a short time but switched to a Medicine cat -Dogwoodflower loves her brother but doesn't spend much time with him -Dewrush (he/xem), Yellowfin, and Sunpebble have been a trio since apprenticeship -Sunpebble is expecting Yellowfin's kits, yay! -Dewrush... has had a crush on Sunpebble since apprenticeship -Dewrush has a daughter from when he was abused by a past mate (Moonpaw/blossom) (not really relevant) - Dewrush is jealous of Yellowfin - Since they are "friends" Dewrush invites him on a duo patrol - Dewrush attacks and kills Yellowfin - Dewrush leaves him there and goes to wash the blood and scent off - Dogwoodflower, on a herb gathering patrol stumbles across him on her way back to camp. - In distress, she tries (pretty frantically) to heal him, patch up his wounds, etc. (He was already dead at this point) - They get covered in his blood while doing this - A patrol including Sunpebble (she hadn't gone to the nursery yet) and Emeraldstar(she/he) (The leader of Autumnclan) ALSO stumbles across this scene - Sunpebble is enraged and believes they killed her mate - She attacks Dogwoodflower and they are blinded in one eye -Emeraldstar exiles Dogwoodflower on the spot -They take Yellowfin back to camp and Dewrush is like "woah what happened" - Sunpebble is all like "WAHH" ANyWAY time skipppp -Dewrush literally succeeds and Sunpebble MARRIES HIM after he helps her through grief - this is after Applepaw and Lemonpaw are born - Dewrush mentors Applepaw - He both physically and mentally abuses Applepaw because he looks like and reminds everycat of Yellowfin -He tells no one TIME SKIP Lemontail (she/her) is deputy and has a son named Acornfawn (he/they/it) (young warrior) Applestorm is a silly guy Dogwoodflower lives in the woods right outside Autumnclan territory, only a few cats know this and the truth (Yellowfin's decendents) [apple, lemon, acorn] (few others as well) - Dew and Sun are elders now - Granny dogwood sneaks into camp and snaps Dewrush's neck at dawn - Sunpebble tries to kill her - Acornfawn jumps in the way and is badly injured - Dogwood takes him off to the side to stop the bleeding - Lemontail kills Sunpebble - Yay lots of misery (acorn is fine btw) (so is apple and lemon) finally omg
Thanks for reading, Duckpaw! Yes he does have a scar over that one eye, sorry its hard to see lol. He kinda has curly fur btw Dark forest drove him insane, he was just a awful person before. Omg the lore took me like an hour to type aaaaaa why did I do that (Answer, IT WAS FUN >:3)
