The type species Tyrannosaurus rex (rex meaning 'king' in Latin), often shortened to T. rex or colloquially T-Rex, is one of the best represented theropods. It lived throughout what is now western North America, on what was then an island continent known as Laramidia. Tyrannosaurus had a much wider range than other tyrannosaurids. Fossils are found in a variety of rock formations dating to the latest Campanian-Maastrichtian ages of the Late Cretaceous period, 72.7 to 66 million years ago. It was the last known member of the tyrannosaurids and among the last non-avian dinosaurs to exist before the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event.
If this is used, give me credit. Music: Jurassic Park Trivia Remember when I said that the frill's colours of my recent Triceratops vector was based off of King Ghidorah? Well, some of the colours of this Tyrannosaurus vector were based off of Godzilla. Heck, the shape of the stripes were directly traced from his dorsal plates. As far as I know, this is actually my first vector that is mainly bluish in colour. While the colours of this T. rex were based off of Godzilla, the neck's coloration was inspired by WWD's T. rex. If your wondering why this vector doesn't have as much patterns as my previous ones, I just want to transition back into my older style of making vectors. My most recent Triceratops vector was my first step towards it with the less jagged patterning.
