Alright, here are my entries for Rainy Shores! This design is so incredible, and I immediately got motivation to draw it. I’m going all out with this dta- [] Finn ——— - Dog - Adolescent - Genderfaun - Aro/Ace - Complaisant, patient, gullible. [] Backstory ——— Finn just wants to help everybody. He enjoys doing things for others, and is protective of his friends. So, when they come to him to vent, he naturally wants to help them. He listens to them, and offers them his support, or a shoulder to cry on. However, he never feels like he's doing enough. He wonders if he makes his friends feel worse, or if he says the wrong things. Oftentimes, he'll break down after a social interaction, but he can't tell anyone, because then he'll hurt them more. He forces himself to be okay, so he can be there for everyone else. When a friend of his declares a romantic attraction for him, he's startled, but of course he doesn't show it. He doesn't know what to say, and he doesn't know what he feels. However, he says he reciprocates their feelings, because he cannot explain that he does not feel the same, and worries they would take it the wrong way. He feels like a liar everytime he talks to them. They always say they love him, or he means the world to them, but everything he says in response feels like a lie. He knows deep down, that he is just going to hurt them more, but he doesn't want to hurt them at all. Eventually, one of his other friends comes to him and asks him about his feelings. He trusts this friend greatly, and realizes he cannot lie anymore. He admits that he doesn't feel the same, but that he doesn't want to leave them. The other friend urges them to talk to the other, and that they'll understand. Finn eventually agrees, and goes to talk with them. He explains that he does not want to be in a relationship with anybody, and that he truly just wants a friend. Although they are saddened by this, they ultimately understand, and they're able to maintain their friendship. [] Slide Directory: 1. Original design, made by Reetroo 2. Reference sheet! 3.
