This is a WIP- the later info is not yet completed !! Please do not steal, I put a lot of effort into this world and plot !! (Cameos open, look in the studio) idk how to start this, so it may sound a little weird at first. There are sort of ranks, but you can’t do anything to change your rank as it’s sorta just the species you are, or the breed of species? Like, imagine ferals are poodles and anthros are labradors or smth like that. There are 2 existing ranks, although there was once another (I’ll get into that later) firstly- ferals. The lower rank, mostly jobs that anthros consider themselves above. Mostly artistic jobs, like acting or writing, or even drawing, but also some more messy jobs, like alchemy science. (Magic test tubes etc, this is what muntjack does). They aren’t treated very well (example: “ferals are guilty unless proven otherwise”- clove, pilot episode. Yes I’m referring to my script). The other existing rank is the anthros- they have different jobs and are treated much more fairly (innocent unless proven otherwise). The jobs include guards (I’ll talk about them later) and other less messy jobs. They almost never have arts as a job. They are generally richer. The third rank no longer exists- they left the continent that demented is set in and they now live in a different side of the world that is impossible to get to for the average individual, feral or anthro. They are leviathans- after they left, the hierarchy of ranks began to form. Prior to their dissapearance, anthros and ferals were both relatively equal and well off, with the leviathans being the rulers and royalty of the world. There was a revolution lead by the anthros, and then the leviathans disappeared. GUARDS Every feral, at some point in their life, has thought “I want to be the first feral guard!” But every time they do a test to get it, it’s rigged and they fail. There are different types of guards- GoG (general of generals) generals, special access, N.E.P (needed early promotion), mainrankers, and trainees. There is only one GoG, who is in charge of all the generals. Generals , are, well, generals. They are in charge of their squadron (maren is a general). Special access is very frowned upon, as it’s just if the GoG or a general likes a person, they can get a special rank (Obel is in the special access rank, being maren’s son). N.E.P (needed early promotion) is the LEAST frowned upon rank- when a trainee does ASTOUNDINGLY well in one of their assessment exams, they become an N.E.P. Although not technically the highest rank, they are the most looked up to by trainees. This mostly never happens. (Clove is an N.E.P.) mainrankers are the rank you go to after being a trainee if you aren’t an N.E.P. And trainees are guards in training. The higher ranks get special armour tailored specifically for them. You get this as as a general, NEP, or GoG. Trainees, mainrakers and special access all have clothing specific to their rank. The culture around magic and wings: Magic and wings are considered evil. (Alchemy science is frowned upon greatly) if you are spotted with wings, you will immediately be jailed. Wings and magic are considered evil because of the leviathans- as the anthros hate the leviathans, any signs of leviathan activity will be dealt with as soon as possible. (Leviathans are incredibly important to demented) The cages: It’s like a jail. The original draft for the cages was a bit darker, involving small, hanging cages, but as I am expecting people under the age of 9 to see it I rewrote it, so now it’s a large open space. Also yes there were previous drafts- the older the darker. I slowly reworked it to be suitable for the scratch community guidlines. Archiak Archiak is the world that demented takes place in- I have a few different storylines in this world, but demented is my favourite. I’ll make an rp of this at some point!
