After the contest ends the host will choose a character or characters that they like the most and they keep them (and possibly give some prizes to winners!) alright so there are two things you can base a character off of (you can just make a single character for one of the themes or make 1 for both of them, but i won't be taking two characters from the same person) Because of there being two character prompts there will be two winners! Both winners get a follow from me, a love/favorite on their project, an icon of an oc of their choice, and me keeping the character they made :) if you do not win you get to keep the character you made and do whatever you want with it lol DEADLINE IS September 15th Rules before I talk about the character themes: -You don't have to ask to join (i'll delete your comment if you ask lol) -Don't guilt trip me or other people -Be nice to everyone including yourself -Nothing non-kid-friendly -A bit of blood is ok but no extreme gore -Use your own art (no AI, no picrew/gacha/doll makers, etc... bases are ok though but if you use someone else's give credit to them!) -Remix this project for your entry or it will NOT COUNT (even if you link it in the comments) -You can make a max of 2 entries (one character for each theme) -I won't be making major redesigns of the characters I keep but I will likely change their design a bit to fit my style If you have any other questions feel free to ask First thing you can do is make a character based off of the moodboard in the project! Yes I've shown this moodboard before don't tell anyone >:( (this moodboard is free to use anywhere including outside of this dmac WITH CREDIT! all the pictures on it were photos I took myself so please credit me if you use this elsewhere!) Here are some things I like in designs! (you don't have to include all or even any of these but you can go by this if you're looking for ideas) Species I like: -HUMANOIDS!!! ("humanoids" as in non-anthro-animal ones lol) -Anthros are ok too -I don't mind if you make feral characters but I will likely redesign them to be anthro XD -Other creatures maybe! Make anything you want tbh! Although I don't really like human OCs lol Design traits I like idk: -TV/COMPUTER HEADS. I LOVE THEM SM -Object heads are cool too! -Robot/mechanical parts -Bright/rainbow colors!!1!! -Body horror/general spooky elements (maybe but idk if it fits this moodboard lol :0) -Just go crazy... I want to see what y'all can come up with... I also like characters that are not extremely simple/not extremely complex XD Preferably don't give the character any extra info except for at most a name because I like to think of lore and stuff myself! The second kind of character you can make is: a businessman character (yes I know this sounds silly but I need it for my delusi- I mean STORY some of you might be able to guess what I need them for lol). Try not to make them like too crazy looking but also not extremely generic- They gotta have some personality y'know? Don't go by the designs traits I like above because most of them wouldn't really fit a character who's just some businessman (the same species I like apply here tho) For colors idk do anything that's not super bright neon ig I also like characters that are not extremely simple/not extremely complex XD Preferably don't give the character any extra info except for at most a name because I like to think of lore and stuff myself!
