[x] All Deadlines are at 11:59pm / 23:59 (PST). VA Deadline -- August 14 | Results -- August 17 BG Artist Deadline -- TBD | Results -- TBD [x] Welcome to my new project, which I impulsively started on one Saturday afternoon, a visual novel called "how to be human" ! This started out as one or two character concepts, then turned into me personifying different colors... Long story short, here's your blurb: Prism is a mind reader navigating school life. She's so focused on other people's thoughts that she can barely keep track of her own, leading her to have little amounts of self-care and only increasing insecurities. She's usually stuck in the background, thinking she knows enough to make the choice not to interact with anyone. But what if there's more to people than their initial thoughts? And... Could Prism really be her own person? Is she capable of self-discovery, still amongst the judgements and insecurities of her fellow classmates? [x] EXTRA CHARACTER INFO: This is just my preset idea for how characters would sound. I'm not gonna be picky, though. You can try out for literally anything, and maybe you'll pull off a better voice than what I had in mind! Most of these examples are genshin voices, sorry--they've just got a really wide variety of voices, and voice lines from them are pretty easy to find on yt. [17] Prism (she/her) -- Higher pitched, Quiet, not used to speaking... Maybe like Sucrose from Genshin Impact? [19] Cherry (she/her) -- Any pitch really, take inspo from Class of '09 voices and/or Heather Chandler from Heathers [18] Amber (she/her) -- Any pitch, If you've got braces that change the way you talk, worry not! I'd assume she does too. Can't really think of any specific examples rn... Surprise me! [19] Daisy (they/she) -- Higher pitch, super spacey, her voice might be anything from Kokomi from Genshin to Niffty from Hazbin Hotel. [15] Cricket (he/him) -- Low-Mid pitch, he's pretty chill. Don't give him too much of a nerd voice, though a bit of nazal-ness can't go wrong with him. I don't have much of an idea for who he sounds like, but if I find a fitting voice, I'll add it :'D [17] Cobalt (he/they/she) -- They're genderfluid, so the pitch would probably vary from time to time! I'd try something lower though, since he's usually masc presenting. Probably sounds something like Alhaitham from Genshin. [25] Lavender (she/her) -- Mid pitch, I just scrolled through some Genshin voices for some ideas since I wasn't too sure: Shenhe, Chiori, and Eula have kinda different vibes but would all fit really well :) [21] Crystal (she/her) -- High pitch, make sure you can have a lot of different emotions in your voice as she'll be very inconsistent with her emotions. The most fitting voice I found for her was Sparkle from Honkai: Star Rail (ive never played it but GOD her trailers are so cool) [18] Raven (she/they) -- Low-Mid pitch, I imagine she'd have a voice similar to Marceline from Adventure Time and Wendy from Gravity Falls.. and probably a personality not too different from theirs tbh If you don't get any of this main cast, chances are that you'll still be able to get a role on the side (e.g., Cherry's group, extra theater kids, teachers, parents...). Those characters are just still in development, and won't have as many appearances or lines. Also, though I will be listening and genuinely considering every audition, It's possible that I'll take a role for myself. That's only if no one seems to really fit the role, though! [x]
