The Vieri or Vieroilidae is a clade evolved from some basic Lima. Named after its four pointed star-like shape (vier is Dutch for four), these single celled organisms get their energy from chemicals, like sulfur. The most iconic feature of Vieris is its hardened cell body, their bodies is covered with rows of iron bits (the dark bits on the left picture).
