12 year old Bonnie just wants to draw, paint, or make any kind of art! But, unfortunately, that takes away from her school grades. Her mom encourages her art, but convinces her to keep her grades up at the same time, keeping Bonnie motivated and happy. But when disaster strikes and Bonnie's mom flies away to see Bonnie's sick grandmother for a year, Bonnie's dad takes over... with new and harsher rules, including that Bonnie must stop her art and get straight A's. What will Bonnie do?
