Like half the characters and the original person who made the base story I'm making an AU off of: @PeteyBirdd / @PeteyTheParrot Song: Steal Away - Murder by Death (I couldn't find another song that I liked to replace it) This AU is a combination of the Firefly Foundation story and an AU I made of one of my own stories, Meowfia Mob Boss (name very much subject to change because it's not relevant anymore). The AU I made of Meowfia Mob Boss is called the Breaking Point. Anyways, small backstory about the origins of this FF AU over. Note: I don't fully remember all the little details about the story, please tell me if anything is so wrong that it's breaking the rule of not completely changing the story. Ginger is given a bounty on someone named Dusk, a seemingly normal person with a painfully average life who works as a surgeon. Ginger notices that Dusk doesn't seem to owe any money to the Firefly Foundations or anything. He teams up with Obsidian to investigate Dusk, and finds out that he's the right hand man of Bells, the head of an organization called the Cats of Cards (might change the name), competing with the Firefly Foundations. The Cats of Cards offer Ginger the opportunity to get enough money to keep his mother's bookstore open and to be free of the Firefly Foundations, and offers Obsidian the opportunity to get rid of the bounty on his head, and all they have to do is kill Milo for them. Ginger and Obsidian end up accepting the offers, having to go up against Oswald and Hazel while trying to take out Milo. TLDR: Ginger has to kill Dusk, investigates him with Obsidian, and joins another organization called the Cats of Cards who tasks the two with killing Milo in exchange for Ginger keeping his mom's bookshop, and Obsidian being a free man. Characters: Ginger - Main protagonist Obsidian - Protagonist Milo - Main antagonist Oswald - Antagonist Hazel - Antagonist Dusk Kaard - Protagonist? He'll work with Ginger and Obsidian, but doesn't fully trust them Bells - Protagonist Characters that exist here but I didn't mention Clover Kaard - Protag, works with Bells. He's Dusk's brother. Spade's twin. Spade Kaard - Protag, works with Bells. She's Dusk's sister. Clover's twin. Stella - Dead antagonist. Was married to Dusk. He never really loved her, he just didn't want to hurt his best friend. She disappeared one day and he's been much happier since, in his own way. Robyn and Oak - Protagonists but I don't remember what they do so I didn't end up mentioning them, sorry. Onyx - King of Demons. He technically exists but doesn't play much of a part aside from disappearing Stella and also Dusk having a crush on him Btw that cat wearing the medical mask on the cover is supposed to be Dusk, the one in the tophat is Obsidian, and the one with the flower is Ginger
