In this world, after a certain disease nicknamed the "Frost", which made people never feel anything but cold, literally and emotionally. People who recovered or were born with the Frost felt as if it were nothing but a small cold. They were often resented by those who suffered with constant freezing temperatures and red noses, not only for their instant recovery, but for what they became afterwards; Virtues. People born with unnatural abilities. Some considered them miracles, others converted back to old times, calling it witchcraft and sending them to prisons. People felt rageful at their neighbors and family locked away for something they couldn't control. War began, and people were either too focused on making a cure for the Frost, training in the army, or just surviving. Population decreased dramatically after what used to be North America (now called Sierland, see map) dropped a nuke on Africa (Inhallend) and the more densely populated parts of Asia (Njor) in 2696. War began, and it has continuously been going since then. All Nations declared a temporary ceasefire right as the overall population dwindled to the mere millions. Factories across the globe shut down due to lack of workers, and people went about life as if they went back in time. Horses began to have more value, since cars were no longer available. Only the rich, and people lucky enough to have a working generator had even a scrap of power, most citizens now huddled around fires to keep warm and used lanterns to see in the darkness. Many people converted to monks, claiming it was punishment of the Lords and Ladies themselves (see chpt 5). This is the story of a few ambitious teens trying to work together to survive the apocalypse, before they turn on each other. 2: Deeper character info (voice pitch, backstory, etc.) London (Main): London has a medium/low pitched voice, and she is loud, vain, selfish, and clever. Her personality is a mixture of Kaz Brekker and the Darkling (Aleksander) from the Grishaverse. If you can, try giving her a VERY SLIGHT French accent. Chloe (Main): Chloe is very quiet and has a higher pitched voice. She speaks in a whispered hush, not like a child but still pretty high. She will occasionally squeak when she is frightened. She might have a slight English accent. She has a voice similar to Teri from AWOG, though significantly less breathy, and a little deeper. David (Main): David has a medium/low (more towards the low side) male voice, and he isn't as quiet as Chloe, but he is definitely not loud. He often mumbles, stutters, and repeats words. He is also a pretty fast talker I guess, though he gets very loud and has a strong opinion when it comes to war and politics. He has an American accent, so for me, like, no accent I guess lol. I can't think of a character he reminds me of, but just think of a leader. Khione (Main): Khione has a very strong voice, the pitch varying, but definitely not high. When she uses her power, I will give the recordings effects to make it echoey and god-like. She also has more of an "American" accent, or no accent from my perspective (idk why i keep having to clarify that but...yah, lol). Abigail (Major): Abigail has a distinct southern accent, though don't be ridiculous with the accent. You don't have to do a Southern accent if you can't but you'll be more likely to get the part if you have one. She is always cheery, and kinda loud tbh. She is very enthusiastic about everything, so make sure you talk a bit louder and faster for her. Think of Mary Cooper when voicing her, I guess. Lovelyn (Major): I honestly don't know what to think of her yet lol. I know she has some slight accent, but I'm really not sure what accent she has. Just, give her a slight accent, doesn't matter what it is, and I'll decide what accent suits her best from the entries. She has a strong heart, a deeper voice, and isn't afraid to speak up, so make sure you have a leader-ful (idk) voice. I can't think of a similar character, maybe Zoya Nazyalensky from the Grishaverse? Dawn (Major): Dawn's voice is louder and faster (not too fast tho). She has a medium-high voice and...well....idk how else to put this but she...sounds how she looks?? She can have any accent or no accent, idc. She is loud and confident, maybe like Cherry Bomb or Velvette from HH, idk. Any confident, loud voice will do :)
#2 continued!!! Dusk (Major): well... eeesh, poor Dusk i did him dirtyyyyy brooo :(( hes the sidekick AND his character looks awful?? i REALLY gotta make it up to him. ANYWHO... he has a low, masculine (obviously) voice, but he isnt as loud as Dawn. He talks a bit slower, and not as much, but GAWDAM HE CAN SING-at least in my head he can lmaooo.
