Description

When uploading audio files to Scratch you can sometimes end up with unwanted audio artifacts (specifically noise) that is the result of IMA 4-bit ADPCM compression that Scratch automatically applies when you upload a file that is either stereo, has a higher bit rate than 22050 Hz, or is roughly longer than 30 seconds. A solution to this is to convert your sound using a tool like Audacity, Logic, or Audition to a WAV file that is 22050 Hz, 16-bit, Mono, Uncompressed.
