no you don't get a thumbnail i'mma be sayin a lot so buckle up >:] (caps warning, also it would be appreciated if you read it all !!) fullscreen recommended !! first of all WOAH ?? first official post of the summer ?? all the way in august, when it's almost over- lmao sorry for being kinda d e a d i'm just really lazy during this time, i'll try to post more !! probably a lot more during the school year though. i did consider leaving a few times due to being barely active and not many people being into my stuff anymore but I DIDN'T HAHAHAHAH >:D also this is my first official piece on my new drawing tablet !! onto the actual thing, i know animation was at the top for tips to win, but unfortunately i'm not an animator lol (i hope to start doing it one day though, it's one of my dreams !! once i figure out how-) anyway i did my best for the bio, shading, and backstory !! (backstory kinda sucks because i'm out of practice for writing, but whatever) i did change the clothes just a teensy bit because i looked at it wrong (lmao) and kleki was being stupid with colors, so i hope that's alright :D also I AM AWARE THE LINES LOOK GOOFY. i forgot to put the lineart on a new layer (that's common for me, unfortunately, stupid nd brain >:[ /j) so i had to trace them over once i was done coloring the piece, which was a pain. again i hope that's alright !! anyway i'll stop rambling, onto the bio and backstory :D (in notes and creds !!)
name: Starlynn ("Star") age: thirteen trillion years old (resembles a 19-year-old human) gender: genderfluid (female and agender) pronouns: they/she backstory: Star was the first living being born into existence, formed out of light shortly after the big bang. The stars themselves created them, gifting them the unique power of pure creation. As Star grew and began to recognize her power, thus learning what she had to do to keep everything from descending into chaos, she became increasingly lonely. Drifting among the stars and planets with no one to talk to has been tough for them, so using their power, they created a friend. Star didn't know exactly what she was creating, so the result was a furry creature with hooves and horns. It was so small; Star guessed that it was a child, as she had once been. The creature looked up at her with big, bright eyes. "Where am I?" Star had made sure to give him the ability to speak, so that they could talk and hang out. He looked down at his hooves. "WHAT am I?" Star realized they should give the new species and name, and the creature itself a name as well. "You're a...a zodiac," they decided. "I will name you Aries." "A name!" Aries's eyes lit up. "Yay!" Star could already tell she was going to like her new friend. For a few more years, the two wandered the cosmos together, never leaving each other's side. Star created more and more zodiacs, more friends so that they would never be a alone again. But one night, that all changed. Star tossed and turned in her sleep, having a terrible dream. Everything was dark, and it felt cold and icky. An echoing voice seemed to come from everywhere at once. "You've made a grave mistake, Starlynn." "They cannot be here." "They must be destroyed." "THEY MUST BE DESTROYED!" Star woke up in a cold sweat, panting. They looked at Aries, curled up beside them. Were her friends in danger? The next day, Star was exploring a new galaxy with their friends when a terrible sound screeched throughout the stars. In the distance, she spotted a creature...but it was nothing like any of her friends. It was a big, white glowing creature, with a lashing tail and sharp teeth. Star gasped. Their dream...it was real. Everyone's eyes were wide with terror, facing the monster. There was no way they could survive that beast - it was twice their size. "I'm sorry guys," Star said helplessly, "but we can't be together anymore." Using her power, Star created a giant temple that enveloped all twelve of her friends. "Enchant this temple to hide the zodiacs from whatever threat that may come to them," they muttered. A wind seemed to blow around her, but other than that, nothing happened. The beast, now twenty feet away from her, halted and looked around in confusion. It turned and disappeared in a wisp of smoke. Star sighed. "You're safe," they whispered. "But I can't stay with you." She knew her job; she had to travel throughout the universe, keeping things in order so they didn't fall into chaos. Their friends had helped with that, but now it had to come to an end. She knew she had to keep checking in on them, though, so they won't be completely alone. Things would be okay...right?
