I found this Averatec 3200 laptop in Tails basement and he let me have it! The bad news is it didn't come with a power adapter, so I can't turn it on. I might but one soon or wait until Tails can find one, but for now this is all I got! The Averatec 3200 isn't that popular of a computer, but it was released in 2004, so that means it comes bundled with good ol' Windows XP! I might need to reinstall XP, because one, it's the home edition, and two, it has a bunch of stuff from when Tails used it. I am also planning to dual boot either 98 or Me with it, because I want the DOS prompt from running DOS games (also for running even older programs). I have this website called WinWorldpc.com that allows you to get free .ISO files for old programs, so I'll be all set when it comes to what I'll be doing on it! I already have Microsoft Office '97, but I also found my old CD set of the PrintShop! I also found a mouse (which is plugged into the computer on the photo) that is from the same time! UPDATE: I found a power adapter that kind of works with it but it doesn't fit in all the way and you have to get it to a certain position for it to work. So once I found this I turned it on and it started beeping three times continuously, but nothing was showing up on the screen. I looked it up and I figured out that this means that there's a problem with the RAM. I opened up the RAM slot and figure it out that there is literally no RAM installed! I can't do anything with it unless I install RAM, so it's now going to be a higher priority. I just bought some and it will probably come on the 5th.
