Basilkit was born in MountainClan (This is a Warriors story, okay?) with his littermates, Sparrowkit, Finchkit, and Gingerkit. His mother was a MeadowClan cat, but she had joined her mate Brownfur in his clan. Basilpaw, trained hard to be a warrior, until he found out his brother, Gingerpaw, had whitecough. He despaired greatly, and then tried to help him. He'd saved him with a couple herbs (With help from a dream from StarClan.) MountainClan's medicine cat, Blueheart, asked Basilpaw if he wanted to train as a medicine cat. Basilpaw thought about this, then accepted, doing what was best for the clan. He spent the rest of his life healing others and reciving omens and dreams from StarClan, being renamed as Basilfur.
