Instructions

This is an unfinished top-down shooter that I started a year ago in the summer of 2023, but then stopped working on. Currently the free-play mode is mostly done, but the story mode was never worked on. Feel free to remix this and add things! Instructions: Use W A S D keys to move, click or space to shoot. Use 1-5 keys to change your weapon. [1 = pistol, 2 = throwing knives, 3 = double barrel shotgun, 4 = machine gun, 5 = rocket launcher] Press the R key to reload. (Reloading can only be done manually) Try to survive and get as many kills as possible. (Game will not end until you lose)

Description

One of the reasons I stopped working on this is because of the screen switching (This feature was removed before sharing) Things were not working how I wanted them to, and I couldn't get my alternative ideas to work either. I planned on the player being able to go between five different areas. This would allow them to slow the game down in sticky situations. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the zombies to save onto the screens they were on. So the player could easily switch screens to delete all of the enemies when too many accumulate. Since I didn't want this demo to be too easy, I took out the code that allows you to switch. I didn't completely delete it, so you can go into the code and make it work again if you want.
