So, Meadow hinted on their profile that the key to the entire EA plot was just within reach, but that no one had noticed it yet. That line reminded me of a theory I had a while back that I was too lazy to put into a slideshow style project, so here it is as a wall of text. There are three things you need to know to understand this theory (all of them will be explained so no need to go researching stuff). 1. The concept of Chekhov's Gun 2. The fact the actual 'plot' started at Chapter 45 3. A basic idea of the EA plot (especially chapter 32) Anywho, number one, Chekhov's Gun is a principle that states: "If a gun is loaded in the first act, it must be fired in the third." In summary, in a book/movie/play, any detail that is focused on in the first act (beginning of the story) should have payoff in the third act (end of the story). No major detail should be irrelevant. Which leads me into my next point: The plot started at chapter 45. This fact was stated in the credits of chapter 44 if you don't believe me, but that means that chapters 45-58 are all very much in the first act. Point number three needs no explanation. Go read the comic if you haven't already, but if you need a summary, OJ cat is trying to join a group. She keeps it mostly a secret of who it is but does share that this group honors humility and resilience. Now, anyway, all explaining out of the way, theory time. As I said, the plot starts on chapter 45. What is introduced the same chapter? Skyclan, baby. Now, Chekhov's Gun is enough reasoning for me to believe that OJ will join them, but there are some other details that lead me to believe this even more: 1. OJ got in a fight to get in. Skyclan is shown to value strength, so it seems in character to have a battle as a trial to get in. 2. OJ says that they value humility and resilience. Even though Skyclan is violent, they are still a clan that follows the warrior code. Also, values like knowing when to admit defeat while still being resilient would be useful in battle. 3. When OJ gets injured, she goes to Shadowclan to steal herbs, which Skyclan is portrayed as having a rivalry with. 4. OJ is seen going back into Skyclan at the end of one of the more recent chapters 5. OJ seems to have a basic idea of the clan system, referring to apprentices and warriors. Yeah, those are my two cents about the EA plot. I got no clue what's happening in Starclan though. (if this entire project sounds like an incoherent ramble, sorry. It's almost midnight when I'm writing this lol)
