CW: phobia resulting from trauma, child abandonment Backstory here ^^ Lyra was the child of Sky Blue and Pale Red (npcs) who abandoned her because her color was not a mix of their colors. She was led to believe she was a mistake, like a glitch. She wandered from PC to PC until she reached one that was owned by a Warriors fan who had the game Clangen on their computer. Out of curiosity, she slipped into the game. As a consequence, she grew cat ears. Unfortunately the owner of the PC was also an Alan Becker fan and they tried to capture her. She fled with the Minecraft cube in her hands and jumped into the blank white Interspace, where the Minecraft cube sucked her in. The game was glitching and breaking itself, so she ran from the bugs. She reached an ancient city portal, which lit with her touch, and she was transported out of the collapsing app and teleported to a different server that was stable. The glitches left a cream color star mark on her right hand, and because of the trauma from the collapsing Minecraft app, she got a phobia of glitches. As of chapter 21 of the Split Up, she's 16 years old. ------------------ My ideas were that maybe that server she was transported to was a few hundred blocks away from Sea Green's house. So while Sea Green and Red are out in the latest chapters, she arrives to their house and is found by them after they come back (if they do, obviously, I can't be sure how the story's gonna go), and no pressure but it would be fun to see Lyra become a good friend to Sea Green and Red, maybe a few interactions. Ok fine, so maybe she could be more of a minor character than a cameo. Nothing she does needs to be story-changing, just little things that give the story more character, I guess. Like Jayfeather after OotS. He's a minor character but often says things that are funny or interesting, but nothing extremely important, just small things that make the books a little more fun. I was kinda thinking of doing that with Lyra. Again though, no pressure.
