{ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ} His parents died, got eaten by plants, Redwood couldn't save them so he grew up feeling like a failure. after parents death he decided to learn the secrets of the forest so he could outsmart the plants in order to save others from getting eaten so they wouldn't have the same fate as his parents. {ɴᴏᴛᴇs} -drawn in scratch -took me an unnecessary amount of time ;) -hope you like it -:D
