Crying Lightning - An Ivypool dark forest open storyboarded MAP. Table of contents: - Introduction - Themes - Rules - Forms Introduction A new MAP! I am actually excited for this one haha, and i have so many more MAP ideas but i think i might have to make them all PMVS. I did too much research and every character is so much deeper than what is normally portrayed in MAPs haha and i love all of them. Guys i swear idk what happened to the music lol. Scratch is actually a pain sometimes i might cut it manually and import it in. Also it just completely made the quality so bad??? :'( The parts are VERY short. I expect some dedicated animating haha. Themes - LED lights, in the introduction and outro the red LED lights are required, lighting on characters should also flicker. - Environment, i love environment in maps and i want the backgrounds to have care put into them. Also i want background cats, things happening in the background, i dont want it to feel empty - Smoothness between parts. ALWAYS. ALWAYS look at parts that are next to your part to make it smooth it looks amazing :) - Movement. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. This MAP relies on gliding and panning between characters, smoothness, zooming in and out. - Perspective. Similar to movement the perspective is very very important. This MAP is dependant on these two aesthetic features. Rules - AMV. this is an animation map - NO extremities. no extreme bl00d or g0re. - FOLLOW REFS. please lol - The storyboard you must follow!! if you are confused ive also added a script alongside. The storyboard is flexible and you can change some stuff, its jsut to have the map run smoothly haha. - This map is for experienced animators sorry guys - No hard feelings if i dont pick you for a part, if i dont respond assume that you did not get the part. Invites will mostly get first pick. - You may have as many parts as you would like but you have to finish each part first before asking again. so only ask for a part one at a time - You dont need to ask to do a TNE - No lyrics for this MAP, even though i love lyrics soo much haha :') you may write CRYING LIGHTNING when it says it though thats my one exception - ALL words in the MAP, (intro/outro) must be LED light themed and flicker/be faulty - 2-3 sprites max, this is because i reallly want you to try to use movement haha so take advantage of it - read the script!! - you have one month to finish :) Forms: Please read the rules first before applying Uninvited: Username without @/ which part/ animation examples/ other Invited: Username without@/ which part/ other TNE: do not ask!
