(Time: over 4 hours too, I’m so slow- T^T) --- Originally, this was going to be longer. It would have included Zeke writing a short letter to xeir sister explaining where xey went, and trapping xeir goggles before following Zephyrus out the window. It turns out Zeke has to take Zeph to the place where their ship, Bravery(I hate the name but must keep it for plot reasons), crashed because they’re lost. While this happens, the law enforcement of Neofelis is looking for them. They find Bravery and make a narrow escape from the Neofelis warriors and the final panel was going to be a rendered scene of Zeke smiling at Zephyrus as they drive the ship to the next inhabited planet, but I ran out of time and you get this text-only cliffhanger. :/ Also the first chapter will begin with Zephy telling Zeke that the ship broke from the crash-landing on Neofelis, so they’ll have to crash-land AGAIN on the planet Rendezvous. It’s unironically named Rendezvous because it’s where the crew of Braving Quests, a.k.a. main characters, meet up; all of them except Zeke have met each other at some point in their lives, and the rendezvous will be the exposition of the entire story! (Their name autocorrected to “Zephyr U.S. T0T) Drawn on ibisPaintX and paper! ^^ --- Plot Bits! - I don’t have a definite name for the story yet, but I’m thinking about something along the lines of “The Main Character” because your quest as the reader is to find out which of the 5 crew members is the main character! - Zeke has dreams and goals xey want to achieve, but is also struggling with discovering who xey really are. Xey’ll be getting a lot of character development, including finding out xeir birthplace! - Zephyrus just wants to hide from their past. They just want to care for others and be loved unconditionally. But you’ll have to face yours eventually, even if you’re wearing a smiling mask… - The Captain Purura set out on his journey because of a cryptic prophecy, and named his ship the ‘Quest’ after this. When Zeke combines Zephyrus and Purura’s ships , they renamed it ‘Braving Quests’ after the quests they each had to braved and the fact that it was like a combination of the ship’s previous names. He wants to find the voice talking to him, and his crew wants to find out why he’s hiding his first name. - Euclid is strange. Euclid doesn’t feel like a cat, it feels like an object. An allknowing object. Euclid is here, yet it knows about things there. Euclid knows about you without ever setting eyes on you. It may even be able to see the future, as it keeps trying to play matchmaker. Why? How? - Oberyn is scared. Terrified of herself, her destructive powers, the people she hurt. But they started it, hadn’t they? They hurt her first, kept calling her names, telling her she couldn’t be a girl, it wasn’t right. No, she couldn’t think like that, it wasn’t right. If they hurt her, it’s their fault. If Oberyn hurts them, it’s her fault. Her responsibility to bear. Her regrets. Oberyn has hoped that staying calm would keep the monster from coming back, but after being abandoned by their ashamed parents, all she has left is Euclid to keep her sane. - Zeke and Captain Purura each get a prologue chapter, but the main story will be told from everyone’s perspectives. - They all like to look at the stars.
