personally reshared with better explanation and clarification [was gonna make a separate project but probably no one would see it so i just edited this] I doubt this will actually make its way into Scratch considering the many ways AI can be used like this [looking at you, sus stuff generators] but I am personally going to RIOT if this is added like even @Alzter commented on the crediting issue which is ALSO important and a problem with AI. AI is art stealing… but uh yeah [I notice there’s also a blog post about this from ST but it’s from August of last year… :( look idk guys…]
edit [9:31 pm est, 7/24]: well this blew up goodness gracious kind of glad it is honestly people should really know about this whether they support it or not imo it appears i ended up starting a trend either way... ;-; space to advance another edit for clarification while I’m at it: look I do understand where ST is coming from with all this and I’m sorry this post has caused a ruckus as this is more of a rant than anything and initially I feel as if it was kind of misleading especially when I firs released this but I seriously think the cons are going to outweigh the pros if this is added… Like to even consider AI art is crazy for ST to do Still though don’t leave or anything guys it’s not here and it may not be added, I’m no doomsayer :(
