——-———————Chapter one —————————— For the past two weeks, Arin had felt great. Kai and Bonzle were trapped somewhere, but he saved Nya and was indeed proud of himself for that. He finally felt like he was helping the ninja instead of slowing them down. Life was just overall good. It was night, Arin was lying on the monastery roof, when he decided to try to do object spinjitzu like before. He grabbed all kinds of things, including Mr. Frohicky’s broom, Chronosteel, random junk, and a dinner plate. He threw all of them, but none had the spinjitzu effect. “What’s wrong Arin,” Wyldfyre asked. Arin sighed, “I’m just trying to do my object spinjitzu……..and I just can’t right now, but I really don’t know why.” The monastery door opened. “Well you probably can’t do it cause you never did it at The Shadow Dojo in the first place, Sora did.” Sora came out of the door, her face almost went completely pale. She stared at Wyldfyre for a second, then Arin. “Wha—what do you mean I didn’t do it? I stopped the ritual! I saved Nya!” Sora looked at Arin in complete guilt. By looking at her face, Arin knew the truth. His confidence shattered, his trust between him and Sora suddenly changed, his smile and good feelings broke. “I—I’m sorry Arin,” mumbled Sora. Arin took a deep breath. “It’s fine, now I know I’m just completely useless.” Sora could hear the anger and sadness in Arin’s voice. Wyldfyre silently said “oops,” as Arin and Sora looked at each other for a while. “Welllllll, I’m gonna go to bed now,” Wyldfyre said then left. Sora and Arin were left alone. They just looked at one another. Arin had tears in his eyes. Sora wanted to apologize again, but Arin blinked away his tears and ran. He ran past the monastery and far away. Sora felt torn by guilt. For the first time in a while, she felt angry. She was angry at Wyldfyre.
