——————————chapter two—————————— Arin ran down the streets of the crossroads in search of something that would calm and satisfy him. Pie, he thought. I should have pie, he told himself. Arin took his favorite flavor of pie using his grappler. Then, without paying, he ran beyond the crossroads, as far away from that stupid monastery as he could get. Upon running, a figure appeared in front of him. It was Lloyd. “That’s far enough, Arin.” Lloyd snapped. “Stop running right now.” Arin stopped. “Get lost!” Arin told Lloyd, as his voice broke. “Don’t you see you’re overreacting!” Lloyd yelled. “Sora just wanted to protect your feelings! She wanted to make you happy! Your recent actions have made her incredibly sad! She even attacked Wyldfyre! All she wanted to do was help!” Arin looked down. “So then you knew! You knew I didn’t do object spinjitzu and you didn’t tell me! You liar! You told me I did it!” Arin yelled at the top of his lungs. He should have felt sad, but instead, he felt angry. “Let’s go back to the monastery now.” Lloyd said. Arin tried to continue running. “Stop, Arin! I don’t want to hurt you!” Arin’s anger only flustered. “Go away!” Arin tried to punch Lloyd. Kai intercepted Arin’s punch. “Let’s go back Arin,” Kai said. Arin saw that there was no way out of this, he decided to go back with Lloyd and Kai. Even though he went back, he still didn’t want to do anything. He avoided Sora, Lloyd, and Kai. He stole lunch from the crossroads. He didn’t even try to do the training course. He always watched intelligent George. Every night he would try to sleep, Lord Ras’s words ringed inside of his head. “The ninja hold you back!” Ras had said. And now…..Arin started to believe it. “There’s no way Ras could be right!” He tried to tell himself. Every night right before he would sleep, he would think to himself one thing. “The ninja hold me back.”
