Check out an extended track!: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1048815399/ If you thought Launch Express was already pretty involved with other Scratch AY people, this takes it to a whole new level, with everything essentially rooted into it. Also, it's hard to go wrong with a rhythm-based microgame in my opinion. It definitely gets tough as nails in the faster speeds compared to other microgames, but it's definitely learnable without too much practice. Anyway, here's the rundown of it: The objective of the microgame is to consume all of the cupcakes that appear from the sides of the screen. The player controls Fifi in the center using WASD or arrow keys. Cupcakes are signaled with an arrow for two beats, before being launched, and must be eaten after an additional beat. Level 1: There are three cupcakes, always launched on the 3rd, 7th, and 11th beats. Level 2: There are four cupcakes, at least two of which are thrown two beats apart from one another. Level 3: There are five cupcakes, two of which are thrown one beat apart from one another. [BEGIN DEVELOPER NOTE] = ASSETS = Besides the commands and stuff, this microgame has 36 costumes and 1 backdrop. Definitely stepped over the goal line, but can't say the payoff isn't evident. = ID = No scripts rely on the microgame ID. = INTEGRATION = To integrate this into a full project, the following must be done: - IMPORTANT: Update the microgame count. - Import these as normal: the sprite, the backdrops, the music, the broadcast script (into the chain of if-loops), and the practice menu costumes. - Add the microgame ID to the list of long microgames. - Add the microgame ID to the list of keyboard microgames. - If applicable, add it to one of the speed lists. - Import the command into normal Action. - Import the 1 extra [TSSCU] script in Stage. Because the local timer's a best friend of all rhythm-based microgames. - If applicable, update the credits. [FINISH DEVELOPER NOTE]
