You saw the title, you know what this is about. If you don't Immortal is a comic I started back in 2020. It's about a cat named Pearl, an exiled mercat called "seabound" who finds out that the other species of cat called "skybound" are still around. The comic never went really far for many reasons. Up to chapter seven has been drawn, although never finished. I've been trying to work on the script for MONTHS, but I've realized today I probably won't be able to properly tell the story unless I fully rewrite it. You gotta understand that I made this story when I was 11, and I'm 15 now. The plot has changed a lot and the way I originally made the chapters just doesn't fit that anymore. Also, my writing has improved so much since I first made Immortal. So, what does that mean? I want to reboot the comic. I already have a new google doc where I'm working on its planning (I don't really do drafts) and I'm also trying to figure out how I can fix the plot a bit. Idk when production will actually start up again, but I promise it won't be forever. It's just real difficult because school is very hard for me and I need to work on my animation portfolio so I can get into the college I want, along with having a lot of health problems in general that keep me from doing both. Also I have been SOOOO hyperfixated on spooky month it's crazy- I have an AU I've been working on since April and I'm already making animations for it. Anyways, not to be too off track, I will probably be posting the sketches I had for chapter 7 sometime soon. Fun fact the whole reason I am making this project and starting the reboot is because I impulsively started making redesigns of some of the characters because I was bored during driver's ed- also I will be posting those refs whenever I finish them.
