This demonstrates that a wheel shaped as a Reuleaux triangle can be used to produce an oscillating motion. Click either wheel to switch between a round wheel and a Reuleaux triangle wheel. Adjust the speed if you like.
I drew the shapes in the Scratch paint editor, so the Reuleaux triangles are just approximations.
