made for the @griffpatch july 2024 game jam "feed it" in collaboration with @rainsoupshark :3 use space to continue/skip through dialogue use arrow keys or a/d to move left/right you cant jump, its true - just go back to camp and the game will continue from there. you can only carry one piece of kindling at a time! ! IF YOU WANT HINTS, SCROLL DOWN! IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE SPOILED, DO NOT SCROLL DOWN ! finally, a brand new scratch retro-esque story-led rpg 2d metroidvania platformer! im realizing that this is the first platformer ive pretty much ever made with actual art so thats cool i had a really fun time designing stuff and thinking new ideas when it came to game design while developing this project so that was pretty neat the rest of the credits are in the project (you do have to win to see them though) huge shout out to tv girl and gorillaz who got me through this project uniform pixel sizes? in this economy?
