Again, just a single costume spinning around. Don't click the green flag yet. First, click the stage to cycle through the images. Try to figure out how the dots will appear to move. NOW you can click the green flag :) Once the "turning angle" value has stopped increasing, use the slider to increase and decrease the turning angle, and see how that impacts the apparent movement. If you want finer control, the "angle adjustment" slider lets you adjust the turning angle by fractions of a degree.
Why do they appear to move at different speeds in different directions? The following projects will help you figure that out. Spinning Rings Illusion: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/597314200/ Spinning Rings Illusion 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/598765729/ I rendered the inner dot circles with the Pen, took a screenshot, imported that as a costume, removed the background, converted it to vector format, and copied it into the costumes. In hindsight, it would have been easiest to render everything this way. Instead, the rest of the dots were arranged using various geometrical shapes as guides. Thanks to @grandpasp for suggesting that I add finer control in the original project.
