Scratch Brawl Announcement Teaser [ScratchCon 2024] !! FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING !! Thanks to @doggerlope for helping animate and thanks to @IncognitoOrange for appearing in this I'm super excited to announce Scratch Brawl (working title), a new platform fighter coming to Scratch featuring some epic Scratchers + new characters! While this is super cool and all, you should manage your expectations. This is a side project and is moving quite slow, but we do have some early prototyping stuff done and I think that we can get somewhere at some point. -FAQ- Q: I signed up for Super Scratch Smash Melee / Codebreakers Gamers Mod, do those still count? A: We do have something like a signups thing planned for much later, but since those old signups are so old, I figured we should just only accept new ones for when the time comes. Q: Is this a new entry in the previously-established Super Scratch Smash Series? A: No. This is something standalone. Q: Can I be in the game? A: Like I mentioned earlier, the game is super early on in development. Heck, we don't even have attacks down yet, just a basic platformer engine. However, once we've gotten a decent chunk of the game finished, we will release a project allowing people to remix and sign up characters they have made to be added to the game. Q: Who's planned to be in the game?
