INTENDED TO BE VIEWED IN FULL-SCREEN MODE! Click the green flag to start program. This game allows you to assemble an atom by using the arrow buttons in the right-hand "Subatomic Particles" display to add or remove protons, neutrons, and electrons. Only the first 18 elements of the periodic table (the first three rows) can be created in this game. To view the element you have created, click on the purple square in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Only the most common, stable isotope for each element will result in a match. If the atom you have created doesn't match one of the first 18 elements, you'll have to adjust the number of subatomic particles used and try again. The "Electron Shells" display on the left side of the screen keeps track of how many electrons are currently in each shell. The "Subatomic Particles" display will keep track of the total number of protons, neutrons, and, electrons currently in use.
