So yeah, I tried to play D&D, and it was really fun! (Also someone who loves fantasy and RP-ing, I really enjoyed it!) I played it with my family! My dad has been playing D&D for years, so he was our dungeon master! ~ I was a half-elf rouge, my sister was a Eladrin elf warrior, my mom a Tiefling cleric, my brother a Dragonborn warlock, and my younger sister a gnome bard. We started our journey in a small mining town called Phandalin, staying in a tavern called Stonehill inn. We went to the town noticeboard, to get a quest, We ended up taking two quests, telling Dwarven miners at an abandoned Dwarven rune that a white dragon was spotted nearby, and on the way back. ~ We went to the site, to find two dwarfs, we told them about the dragon sighting, but they didn't believe us, and told us that a Ochre Jelly, was found near the runes, down a path. They told us that if we sl@yed it, we would be rewarded with two speaking stones. We agreed, and followed the path into an old temple. We found, not one but two Orchre Jellies. Sl@ying them both, we explored the temple, I found a box hidden in one of the pillers holding up the place. It was a weapon that could blow up this rune site and the town. My sister, the elf nicknamed Fey opened the box to find 15 gems. We each told one, and where going to give the other 10 to the dwarfs (I forgot to mention, they hadn't found any valuable) We explored the temple some more to find hidden passages, in one I found another Jelly. We defeated it but I was injured, and for some reason, my team laid me on this bl00dy altar we found in the temple. Then they found more passages and to explore while I was hurt, so I crawled to follow them. We didn't find anymore monsters, but we did find out this was a temple worshiping an evil god named Abbathor, by finding some old red leather priest clothing, they used the altar I was laid on to sacrifice people. On a dead priest body we found, there was a symbol of Abbathor, my mom took it, so we could sell it. We found nothing else. ~ We went back to the Dwarfs, and gave them the gems and told them about the temple. As we were talking, five Orcs stumble upon this place, and decided to take over it and call it their new home. We fought them and won, but I fainted in the process. They k!//ed both of the dwarfs and we took back the gems and the Orc axes. And then we ended the campaign, and are going to finish it later! So I'll post how the rest of it went later! ~ Also, I just started reading this trilogy called The House Of Ash And Shadow, it's a fantasy series about a banished fae with a curse where if someone touches her with there bare skin on hers or her hair she feels pain. It's really good so far, I'm more then half way through the first book, I started it yesterday (I'm a fast reader :3). It has miner swear words in it. But anyway! If you like fantasy, this might be your ally! Also, who else likes D&D? Also happy four of July! (If you celebrate it!)
