(names of the songs are within the project, unless they're royalty free or i just... don't know what it's called) credits to @Bruh_Seriously_Why! he's the one who suggested the block feature _____________________________________________ and if you're curious about dave's move names: move 1 - Penetrate move 2 - Crushing Axe Kick move 3 - Rib Breaking Dropkick move 4 - Hunter's High Ground - the Dave versions. based off of memory... - v.1.5 health! he can DIE now! tweaked some more stuff, including cooldowns, and added the final move, Hunter's Advance (was changed to Hunter's High Ground). also, i changed some of the cutscene phrases to fit the character better. v.1.4 a li'l cutscene and a new move, Rib Breaking Dropkick. as little as this update may seem, the Rib Breaking Dropkick was very annoying to implement, it took me at least an hour to make. and the cutscene lines, music, sound effects. all pretty time consuming. v.1.3 added blocking, and changed some stuff... here's a list of a few: 1. doesn't attack the player when they have i-frames. 2. can walk around the player if they are holding block. 3. using penetrate will reset Crushing Axe Kick's cooldown, along with landing a dash will reset Penetrate's cooldown. 4. very slight hitbox changes. 5. arrangement of code, changing his behavior slightly. v.1.2 Dave was given similar properties to the dummy, now comboable by the player. Dave was also giving the ability to dash, working with the running backwards feature to create further combos... for the most part... also, his cooldowns were changed to encourage the "AI" to make combos more often. v.1.1 Dave was given his second move: crushing axe kick, so he could now combo off of penetrate. he was also given the ability to jump and walk backwards, effectively dodging the player. he was also given basic cooldowns at this time, so he couldn't just spam crushing axe kick and get the player in an infinite combo. also, Dave no longer just looks at the player and walks to him, because in my old TSB game the poorly made bots would be easily outsmarted if you used the walls to teleport away from them. i swear, they didn't have brains.
