His mother was like his only parent. He and Muffasa would still play together from time to time.Then he got his after his father got mad at him in an argument and was horrified and crushed when his father changed his name to Scar. "If you were half the son Mufasa is!" "I am ten times the son Mufasa is!" "How dare you!" "Ouch!" "You are no son of mine!" When his mother died in a stampede he was heart broken. With no one to soothe his anger and lift his heart, hatred started to rise. Some time later when he was fully grown he killed his father in the gorge. His hatred for the world grew and when Simba was born, that was the last straw.
