people are talking about how a lot of gen alpha kids are operating on a fourth grade level in 6th grade or something, but they're acting like it's all of them, I'm not trying to be rude about it, but when they talk about gen alpha as a whole not knowing how to do this stuff and acting like this, it ticks me off, I am going into 6th grade with 7th grade reading comprehension, 7th grade algebra knowledge, and I don't use "brain rot" words seriously, I only use them jokingly around my friends, the last time I said "Skibidi" was 2 weeks ago at this point. And don't blame the being dumb all on our parents or us, blame it on some of the principles the school system is following that have been disproven my cognitive scientists! Like relying heavily on sight words! And don't forget puberty is a thing, it's a thing where something called horomones makes us rebel most of the time, hence, the behavior of MOST gen alpha. If anything, TEACHERS, the people who teach about it, should know it. But I'm not saying that the behavior isn't out of control and shouldn't be punished, it should, but don't blame our mindset, and finally, Ipad kids, those kids are out of control and blame the parents for those, they have given them no limits, that's the problem there. But only for Ipad kids.
But believe me when I say that brain rot words aren't just being used by gen alpha, the principal at my school said she was the rizzler and an alpha female. My freaking teacher used the words "sigma" and "skibidi" as no joke, they're the only people I know who use it not as a joke. It's not all on us gen alpha, it's on the media of the older influencers who have made trends like skibidi toilet or mewing. Or even parents for no device limits, so don't JUST blame us, now, goodbye, I need to go eat breakfast.
