Sorry this one took a bit longer! I was in New York for a good bit of last week! But it’s here, and it’s Etho! I wasn’t sure how I felt about the poem when I first wrote it, but once I added the art and song, I feel much better. I wanted something simple that focused on the line “down with the ship” since that was kind of the Boat Boys mentality. Down With The Ship When the world has burned to ashes And we’ve reaped all that we’ve sown Then we can burn together And down with the ship we’ll go When all you see is red You tend miss the fiery glow So you light up all who knew you And down with the ship they’ll go When all is said and done And the fire from below Has all but been depleted Down with the ship we’ll go When we tired of the torching And our sparks were finally spent Maybe then the blaze consumed us And down with the ship we went
