HI. Miss me? Didn't think so /hj So. Um. The screenshots kinda say it lol- sorry for disappearing for a month and a half? X'D I won't go into details because I kinda don't really feel like it, but the short story is I didn't really have much to post, I didn't get on here much, and due to some other circumstances I couldn't actually get to my computer and do long term stuff there anyway. So that's the quickest explanation lol- I've got things in the works though! I just shared a WIP of a MAP part, and I really should get to setting another storyboard for ANOTHER MAP part in stone and then sharing the WIP of that too. I MIGHT also get an art dump or two (…or three…) as well, but that's still up in the air. We'll see lol- but I don't really have much to say other than that. Oh. Right. One more thing. :') I don't think anyone would really care at this point, or if this will be some kind of disappointment, but better get it out now instead of later right? There is a possibility that I will discontinue STR. Okay, I get it, this was kinda hinted at for a long time, but I just kept saying "OH MAYBE I MIGHT PICK IT BACK UP AGAIN" when really I just had no drive to work on it whatsoever. Sure I'd read through the comic again and be like "oh these characters are cool" but that spark never lasted long. So yes. I might be discontinuing it. O-on a cliffhanger. Sorry. :") /gen But look guys, I literally thought to make a comic randomly without any idea of what the plot was or who the characters were (at least not much), and I made them cats because they were quick to draw and EVERYONE ELSE was doing cats. I don't feel that attached to them (okay well I DO have an attachment to them, but not as strong lol) and I hardly feel the need to get the plot together and it was hardly thought out! Like I love my rp characters sO SO MUCH MORE. YOU GUYS PROBABLY KNOW THAT LOL THEY ARE LIKE ONE OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS EVER, DESPITE HOW FLAWED THEY ARE. SO LIKE- X'D and I have new characters and a story now that I also love! I mean there's a lot of problems and kinks and things that need to be fixed, it's VERY first draft-y but I still love the world and whatever haha. (I don't think I'll share this one here however- the characters and art, yes, but not the actual story) *breathes* So yeah anyways- I haven't touched STR in…I literally don't know how long. And I don't feel the need to go back to it again. I might discontinue it, it's a high chance sadly :') it's not even "I don't have the motivation" it's the fact that I don't even WANT to do it (that sounds super harsh, and it's really not that I don't enjoy it, it's just I, well…don't want to do it lol) and I don't feel like working with the characters right now. Maybe I'll pick it back up way later on, but right now, it's on the shelf, maybe permanently. ;w; I feel like I'm going to lose a few followers because of this lol- On that note, though, the thought of a sketch comic featuring one of my rp characters has been on my mind. A sketch comic for one of my character's backstories, maybe just because I wouldn't have to figure out a plot lol. And in particular…Cleo's backstory. B) Why Cleo's? Maybe because he's my most developed character and the character I focused on the most. He also has the most messy backstory (as in, I have no idea what the heck I'm doing). (I know it sounds like I'm saying he's my favourite character, but trust me I love Nico and Flint too a lot so shush) So that would be interesting. B) The thought of doing some kind of comic with Frosty as well is there, or even Nico came to mind as well. Maybe I could even do a few comic strips based on rps! I don't know yet. If it was an actual comic though, I'd use an actual comic layout- but for sketch comics I'd use the whole canvas…and would probably use PS just for effects? And because it's where I do most of my digital art now? I've practically moved in lol So yeah. If that sounds interesting just as a silly side project that's not meant to be finished, then I might do it. But for now, I might have a few other things in the works and then I'll disappear for another month /hj Until then, consider this my apology for disappearing and half an update I guess?
