Unfinished because I lost motivation. I was going to shade and light the whole thing. There was going to be like animation and tweening, but then I wanted to extend it to do more of the song. Then, the project became too big and I gave up. Specifically, I was going to include the part of the song that states "Alexander, our older brother Set out for a great adventure He tore our images out of his pictures He scratched our names out of all his letters" However, I didn't end of making that part. Lore: This was supposed to be about how Granite cut his siblings off after his wife (Bumblebee) dies and his son (Ash) disappears, and how they tried to reconnect with him but failed. Cedar tried to help Granite, but he is sort of ignorant/doesn't understand the extent of Granite's grief or what Granite wants. Granite doesn't find Cedar's help as necessary or useful and wants Cedar to leave him alone. Cedar is concerned about his brother, however, and REALLY wants to keep helping him even though Granite doesn't want it. The end frames show when Granite finally hit his breaking point with Cedar and yells at him (although, the animation doesn't show that part specifically ngl there is no yelling). Granite cuts him off from his life (along with his in-laws, but that was a different reason) and moves away. He continues his quest for vengeance without being tethered to anyone (or feeling like he isn't tethered to anyone). When Bumblebee died, Maple just had a son, so she was busy with that but felt sympathy for her brother. Maple also tried to help Granite out, but again, she was mostly busy since she had a newborn son at the time. I don't have that much more for Maple, honestly. I just revived her, so she isn't dead anymore yippee!! She survives now. I need to write more about her. The flashback at the beginning just shows that their mother, Alma, was neglectful. She did not like Cedar or Granite and strongly favored her daughter, Maple, over them. She would get mad at Maple if she agreed with her siblings or went against her. This favoritism and neglect led to a lot of animosity between the siblings (especially between Granite and Maple). Granite and Maple reconciled in their 20s, but after Bumblebee's death, he became envious of her again since she still has her spouse, but he doesn't. He also became envoius of Cedar because Cedar still had a son (Jasper) with him while Ash most likely died. (that was my first time getting those thoughts out of my head omg,,,,,it's kind of all over the place and incoherent) There was also supposed to be some space imagery since Granite has little red stars under his wings.
